Serie A high-flyers Torino are weighing up winter move for Penarol midfielder Nahitan Nandez, according to Tuttosport.
Granata have enjoyed an excellent start to the new campaign and they aim to further reinforce the squad in January in an attempt to secure European qualification.
Tuttosport has learned that Torino are currently looking at Penarol starlet Nahitan Nandez, a creative central midfielder who has seen his stock rise a great deal over the last year or so.
The 19-year-old is already a first team regular at Estadio Centenario, and he has scored one goal in seven league starts this term.
Nandez recently played himself into the first team plans of Uruguay coach Oscar Tabarez, making one appearance for La Celeste in an international friendly before coming on as a substitute in the 2018 World Cup qualifying win over Colombia.
And with the player currently valued at mere €4 million, Torino could decide to make their move in January, before the price increases further.
