Serie A outfit Torino are stepping up their efforts to sign Bosnian midfielder Sanjin Prcic from Rennes, according to L’Equipe.
The 21-year-old only joined les Bretons last season from Sochaux as les Lionceaux were relegated to the second division.
However, he was unable to nail down a regular starting berth at Stade de la Route de Lorient, making just 17 league appearances and scoring one goal.
Nevertheless, Serie A side Torino are interested in luring him to Italy this summer and it is believed that Rennes are ready to negotiate a deal.
Granata officials are expected to arrive in Brittany next week with a view of agreeing a transfer fee with les Bretons and striking personal terms with the Bosnia and Hercegovina international.
Sanjin Prcic came through the youth ranks at Sochaux and went on to make 29 Ligue 1 appearances for the club before moving to Rennes last summer.
