The Italy international striker Andrea Belotti has seen his stock go through stellar rise this season thanks to impressive displays for Serie A outfit Torino.
The 23-year-old has bagged 24 goals in 28 league outings for the Bulls this season and his incredible goal scoring exploits have already alarmed some of Europe’s biggest clubs, who are vying for Belotti’s signature.
Torino have been quick to renew Belotti’s contract back in December, when a release clause of €100 million has been inserted as Granata attempted to keep the interested parties at bay, but it did little to prevent clubs from casting admiring glances and in the case of Premier League title chasers Chelsea a concrete offer, according to Tuttosport.
The Blues reportedly submitted a €60 million offer for the highly-rated Italian, but Torino immediately rejected the approach stating they would not sell their prized asset for any less than the amount stipulated in the release clause.
