According to a recent report from Tuttosport, Italian side Torino are interested in signing Chelsea youngster Ola Aina in the summer. The 22 year old is currently on loan with Torino, and has been turning heads during his loan spell. There is an £8.6 million option for them to sign him on a permanent basis, and it appears as if they’re gearing up to do so.
Aina is one of many young Chelsea players out on loan, proving that English talent can thrive from spending time overseas – which is one of the reasons why some England fans have been in favour of the idea of Hudson-Odoi going to Bayern Munich.
Ola even made the 30 man preliminary squad for Nigeria prior to the World Cup but didn’t make the final 23, representing England up until 2017 when he decided to join the Super Eagles in their senior setup.
Aina has been at Stamford Bridge since the age of 10, and also spent some time on loan with Hull City back in 2017 and 2018.
