QPR forward Hogan Ephraim is set to join Toronto FC, the MLS club have told the league’s official website.
MLS sides have until April to sign new players and Toronto are set to exercise that right to lure QPR winger Hogan Ephraim to Canada.
“We’re in hopefully the final stages of signing him to a loan agreement with Queens Park Rangers,” club chairman Kevin Payne told the league’s official website.
“We hope that will be concluded in the next day or two.”
Former New Zealand international Ryan Nelsen recently ended his playing career to take over the reigns at Toronto and it was he who was eager to sign his former teammate.
It is believed Tottenham midfielder John Bostock and Cardiff striker Robert Earnshaw are also on their way to join the MLS club.
Hogan Ephraim came through the youth ranks at West Ham, but left the Hammers to join QPR without making a single league appearance for the Boleyn Ground outfit.
He has since featured in 95 league matches for the Rangers, but has spent most of his career on loan spells at lower division sides.
