Some really interesting news are once again coming out of the United States and Canada. The new season of Major League Soccer is really getting closer and closer, with the start of the campaign set on the last day of February and clubs are still finding solutions ahead of the first matches.
One of those clubs is Toronto FC, who are still trying to find ways to find their third Designated Player, someone who could make a difference. And now, according to Cadena Cope, TFC are interested in signing Pablo Piatti!
The winger is currently at Espanyol, but he has made just three appearances for the club this season. Toronto do have room for another Designated Player, after they signed Michael Bradley to a new deal and also having Jozy Altidore in attack. Toronto have done well last season, but they did fall on the last step towards becoming champions. That is what they obviously want to improve on. Piatti might help them…
