Torres to Aston Villa?

According to a recent report from Football Insider, Ferran Torres is open to the idea of moving to Aston Villa.

Barcelona, as of this moment, are expected to be forced into selling a handful of players during the summer transfer window. It comes as their financial issues continue to mount, with Torres likely to be one of the players to go.

Aston Villa boss Unai Emery is said to be a big admirer of the former Manchester City star and has plans to slot him into their first team squad, hopefully taking the boys from the second city to a European spot in the process.

Torres isn’t exactly seen as the star man at the Nou Camp these days and although there’s certainly a place in the team for him, there’s far too much uncertainty flying around that club right now. So, for Villa, they could end up with quite the bargain.
