Torres will not leave Liverpool

Liverpool striker Fernando Torres insists he has no plans to leave the club at the end of the season.

Torres has been a key player at Anfield in recent seasons and have scored 18 goals in just 24 starts this term.

“My place is here at Liverpool, and in England,” the 26-year-old told his personal website.

“We need some new signings,” he admitted.

Torres said when asked about his ambitions for next season: “Challenging for the Premier League title, and the Champions League or Europa League.”
