Tosun pleased to have stayed put

Besikatas forward Cenk Tosun has been expressing delight at his decision to stay at the club amid speculation around his future in the summer, according to Talksport.

The twenty-six year old has been in fine form for the Turkish giants this season scoring nine goals in fourteen appearances in all competitions leading him to be linked with big money moves to the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool.

However, he had come close to signing for Crystal Palace in the summer before opting to remain in Istanbul.

Palace have faced a difficult start to the Premier League campaign, losing nine of their eleven games with their only victory coming against champions Chelsea last month.

Tosun has fifty-nine goals in one hundred and thirty-two appearances since moving to Besiktas from Gaziantepspor in the summer of 2014 while internationally he has been capped twenty-four times for his country, scoring eight times.
