Tottenham 11/20 to beat Bournemouth in Sundays Premier League clash

Competition: Premier League
Market: Tottenham to beat Bournemouth
Odds: 11/20 @ Bet 365

Coming off the back of crashing out of this year’s Champions League, Mauricio Pochettino will be desperate for his Tottenham side to immediately bounce back from their midweek heartbreak as they travel down the south coast to face Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.

For the hosts this weekend, Eddie Howe will be glad to see that his Bournemouth side now have some daylight between them and the drop zone. Currently sat 12th in the Premier League table, the Cherries now hold a six point buffer over the bottom three. Last time out, Howe’s side were within touching distance of another crucial three points until a 97thh minute Riyad Mahrez strike saw Bournemouth settle for a point. Coming off the back of back to back draws, while the Cherries have improved their form at Dean Court as of late, Bournemouth have still only managed to keep a single clean sheet in their last 19 appearances.

For the visitors on Sunday afternoon, Tottenham will know that there is no time to feel sorry for themselves after two goals in three minutes saw them come up short against Juventus on Wednesday night. Now fully focused on securing a top-four finishes come the end of the season, Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs side currently occupy that lucrative fourth spot and hold a five-point advantage over fifth place Chelsea. While they may be out of the Champions League, Tottenham are unbeaten in their last 11 Premier League appearances and only remain four points adrift of second place Manchester United.
