Tottenham’s place in the last-32 of the Europa League is already sealed, but they have a playoff with Besiktas to see who will finish top of Group C. Spurs and Besiktas are the two unbeaten sides from the group, but the Londoners don’t need to win to finish at the summit, as they’re currently two points clear of tonight’s opponents.

Besiktas drew 1-1 to Spurs when the two sides met at White Hart Lane, and playing in an intimidating Turkey stadium promises to make Tottenham’s task even harder. They have stumbled over the line when playing away from home in Europe, due to how well organised their opponents have been.

This is certainly Tottenham’s biggest test, but they do have some reason for hope. Mauricio Pochettino’s side have fared better on the road in recent weeks, winning three of their last four away games in the league and Europe, while their opponents haven’t been too convincing on home soil in the competition.
