Tottenham’s season has somewhat fizzled out in recent weeks, with the London club struggling for consistency. Mauricio Pochettino’s side have dropped points in four of their last seven Premier League games, which has seen their hopes of finishing in the top-four dashed.

They are currently holding on to a sixth-placed finish, which would see them in the Europa League next season, but still have to ensure 7th-placed Southampton don’t gain ground on them in the coming weeks. Defeats on the road have been costly, and Spurs desperately need to turn their form around ahead of this weekend’s meeting against Aston Villa.

They haven’t failed to finish in the top-six on the last five seasons, so Pochettino has pressure on his shoulders to deliver. Ladbrokes are backing the London club with odds of 7/10 to achieve their objective come May, which will mean more European football at White Hart Lane in 2015/16.

While they were eliminated from the Europa League prematurely this season, Spurs do feel they stand an honest chance of going far in the competition, and they’ll be hoping to finish top-six this campaign to prove it.
