Tottenham 8/11 to beat Leicester in Tuesday’s Premier League clash

Competition: Premier League

Market: Tottenham to beat Leicester

Odds: 8/11 @ Bet365

The Premier League returns for a massive round of midweek games as England’s top league continues just a few days after the weekend. With available points coming thick and fast at the moment, it is vital that teams find a way to win their matches, otherwise, they could find themselves falling further off the pace. With this in mind, Tottenham travel to play Leicester on Tuesday evening.

Leicester had been undergoing something of a rejuvenation following the sacking of Craig Shakespeare, but they have been struggling in recent weeks. In their last three games, they have taken just two points, with their last match against West Ham ending in a disappointing 1-1 draw.  With 14 points from their 13 games, they find themselves in 11th place, just four points clear of West Ham in 18th. A win in their next game is vital if they are to build upon their recent improvement, anything but that would see them on a four-game winless run though.

Tottenham have also been struggling of late as their run of good form has ended. A defeat at the hands of Arsenal last weekend was something that Mauricio Pochettino would have wanted to get out of their systems almost immediately. However, West Brom proved to be a tough nut to crack, battling to a 1-1 draw at Wembley, meaning they have taken just one point in their last two games. This game is huge for Spurs then, as they look to rekindle their form. With this in mind, we are backing Tottenham to win with odds of  8/11 from Bet365.
