When Premier League clubs turn to the Championship for transfers it is often for long-term gems, and there is little change to that notion with the news that Aston Villa starlet Andre Green has been linked with a move to both Tottenham and Bournemouth, according to the Birmingham Mail.
The 19-year-old, who has only recently returned from a hamstring injury, has already made 20 appearances for Villa in the Championship, despite his tender age. The midfielder has clearly impressed with his exploits during the past two seasons, and a step up to the Premier League could be a great way to accelerate his career.
Reports are conflicted regarding whether the club are interested in letting Green go however, with some people suggesting that offers of £10m and above will be enough to pry him away, while others believe that Steve Bruce won’t let the youngster go under any circumstances.
