Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are interested in signing James Tavernier from Rangers, according to The Daily Mail. It has been reported that the two Premier League clubs have looked into the possibility of securing the services of the right-back, but Scottish Premiership giants Rangers do not want to sell the 29-yea-old in the middle of the season.
Crystal Palace, Newcastle United and West Ham United are also reportedly monitoring the 29-year-old former Newcastle United defender, who is one of the best players in the Scottish Premiership and is a key figure in Steven Gerrard’s Rangers team.
According to WhoScored, Tavernier has scored 10 goals and provided seven assists in 16 Scottish Premiership matches and has scored two goals and provided one assist in five Europa League games for Rangers so far this season.
