Tottenham Hotspur are set to reignite their interest in Juventus forward Fernando Llorente, according to Talksport.
The North London side were linked with a move for the Spain international prior to his move to the Serie A champions, and are now ready to pursue him once more as they look to lessen the goal-scoring burden on man of the moment Harry Kane.
Kane has twenty-nine goals in all competitions for Spurs in this, his breakthrough season for the club though fellow forwards Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado have just seven strikes between them.
Llorente has scored twenty-four goals in seventy-two games for Juve since arriving in the summer of 2013 after eight years with Athletic Bilbao in his native Spain, and is well on course to win a second straight Italian championship with the club with Massimiliano Allegri’s side sitting fourteen points of second place Roma with just ten games remaining.
