Sunday Mirror is reporting that Tottenham are planning a double swoop on Ajax stars Christian Eriksen and Toby Alderweireld.
The two players are widely tipped to leave Amsterdam ArenA this summer, and they have been linked with just about every top club over the past couple of months.
Sunday Mirror has suggested that Tottenham have joined the race as well, having submitted a £15 million proposal for the two starlets.
Spurs will need attacking reinforcements if Gareth Bale completes his switch to Real Madrid, while they are also short of options at the back after Steven Caulker joined Cardiff and Michael Dawson and Jan Vertonghen picked up injuries.
Christian Eriksen, 21, is one of the most sought-after players in world football at the moment and he was believed to be on the verge of joining Liverpool.
His teammate Toby Alderweireld was believed to be on Everton radar, but it looks as though both players could snub a move to Merseyside and join Spurs instead.
