Tottenham eye Martial deal

Tottenham Hotspur are hopeful of securing a deal for Manchester United forward Anthony Martial, according to the Express.

The France international has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford after starting just eighteen league games last season.

Spurs are keen on adding another forward to provide competition for Harry Kane and have identified Martial as a potential target.

With the Red Devils keen on signing Toby Alderweireld from the North London outfit, there may be potential for a part-exchange deal.

Martial moved to England in the summer of 2015 and has since racked up one hundred and thirty-six appearances in all competitions, scoring thirty-six goals.

He has been capped eighteen times for his country with his one and only international goal so far coming in a 3-1 friendly victory over Italy back in September 2016.

The twenty-two year old has not been selected for this summer’s World Cup squad with Les Bleus currently priced at 13/2 to win the tournament.
