Tottenham eye Schurrle move

The Mirror understands that Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a move for Wolfsburg winger Andre Schurrle.

The German World Cup winner only returned to the Bundesliga last February having made sixty-five appearances for Chelsea, and could already be set for a move back to the Premier League.

Title challenging Tottenham are keen to bring in support for Harry Kane who once again has bagged the lions share of the goals for the North London outfit this season.

Like Kane, Dele Alli has hit double figures in the Premier League so far this season though the club have no other prolific goalscorers on their books.

Schurrle has made twenty-six league appearances in the 2015/16 campaign, scoring six times while he has an impressive twenty goals in fifty outings for his country.

Spurs thumped Stoke City 4-0 to move to within five points of leaders Leicester City on Monday evening and are now priced at 7/4 to win the division.
