Tottenham are readying a new assault on Corinthians forward Alexandre Pato, reports Daily Express.
Spurs have been keeping close tabs on the 24-year-old for a while now and they even attempted to sign him this summer.
Alexandre Pato recently missed a penalty that saw his side crash out of the Brazilian Cup and Corinthians chairman Mario Gobbi has in turn revealed that the squad are set to undergo serious changes.
This could mean that the Brazilian giants are prepared to consider cashing in on their star player, who hasn’t exactly impressed since arriving from AC Milan.
Alexandre Pato has scored a total of 13 goals in 37 league matches for Corinthians, and he hasn’t quite managed to nail down a regular starting berth.
Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas plans to add few more high-profile players to his ranks in an attempt to ensure his side finish the season in top 4, with Spurs currently 13/10 to succeed in their quest.
