hot-transfer-newsTottenham eyeing Argentine starlet

Tottenham Hotspur are keeping close tabs on Argentinos Juniors midfielder Rodrigo Gomez, according to A Bola.

The talented youngster has exploded onto the big stage this season, scoring 3 goals and producing 2 assists in 19 league appearances.

His talent did not go unnoticed as Argentine giants River Plate attempted to recruit him, but the €4.5 million asking price proved too much for them.

Nonetheless, A Bola is reporting that Tottenham have been casting admiring glances the player’s way as he is well within their price range.

The 21-year-old, who has scored 4 goals in 27 league outings for Argentinos Juniors, is predicted a bright future in the game and it is only a matter of time before he makes a move to Europe.

His suitors Tottenham have revived their Champions League bid with a comfortable triumph over Newcastle and are available at 12/5 for a top 4 finish.

Kevin Trapp on Juventus radar

Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport has learned that Juventus are weighing up a summer bid for Eintracht Frankfurt goalkeeper Kevin Trapp.

With long-serving keeper Gianluigi Buffon nearing the end of his playing days, the Bianconeri are on the lookout for his replacement.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus have made Eintracht shot-stopper Kevin Trapp their number one target.

The Bianconeri have already established the first contact with the player’s employers as they hope to lure the 23-year-old to Turin in the summer.

Kevin Trapp has a contract until June 2016 in Frankfurt, but Bild understands that he has a clause in his deal allowing him to leave in the summer of 2015.

The talented goalkeeper joined Eintracht from Kaiserslautern in the summer of 2012 and has since made 46 Bundesliga appearances.

European giants battle for Muric

Daily Express is reporting that a host of Europe’s top clubs are in the race to sign Dinamo Zagreb striker Robert Muric.

The 17-year-old is widely regarded as one of the brightest talents in European football and he looks set to leave the Croatian club without making a single first team appearance.

Namely, he has rejected a new contract offer by Dinamo and is likely to leave when his current deal expires at the end of the season.

It is believed that Ajax Amsterdam are leading the chase for his signature, but Premier League giants Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham are also keen.

Robert Muric impressed while playing for Croatia at the Under-17 World Cup in United Arab Emirates, scoring 1 goals in 3 appearances at the tournament.

The youngster has been dropped from the senior squad after refusing to sign a new contract and he is currently training with the youth team.
