Tottenham Hotspur are considering a bid to re-sign Steven Caulker just eight months after selling him to Cardiff City, according to the Mirror.
The North London club have conceded forty goals so far this season – the same amount they have managed at the other end, and have identified Caulker as the man to shore up their back line.
The England international was surprisingly moved on by previous manager Andre Villas Boas last summer, and has gone one to appear in every one of the Bluebirds’ league games so far this season.
However, with the South Wales’ side sitting second from bottom of the division and odds on for relegation, he could well be moved on in the summer.
Caulker has managed four goals so far this season, and is priced at 28/1 to open the scoring when Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s side travel to fellow strugglers West Bromwich Albion on Saturday afternoon.
