Tottenham eyeing Delph/Dembele swap deal

Tottenham Hotspur are keen to see of competition from Everton, Liverpool and Stoke City in the race to sign Aston Villa’s Fabian Delph, according the Express.

The England international has already made it clear that he is not keen to extend his current deal at Villa Park so manager Paul Lambert may be willing to sell him in January rather than lose him for nothing at the end of the season.

Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is ready to move on a number of his current squad, and may look to strike up a swap deal with Moussa Dembele being spoken of as a potential makeweight in a deal for Delph.

Emmanuel Adebayor could also be heading for the White Hart Lane exit door, with a loan move away from the club likely in the New Year along with full back Benoit Assou Ekotto, who is yet to feature under Pochettino.
