Tottenham go after Neves

According to a recent report from Le10Sport, Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho is very eager to try and get the ball rolling for a potential move for Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves.

Mourinho is said to have admired Neves for quite some time now, and he wants to use him as someone who can bolster Spurs’ ranks in the middle of the park. The 23-year-old has the kind of commanding play that means he’d walk into most starting XIs in the Premier League, but you have to wonder whether or not he would suit Tottenham’s current style of play.

Neves is under contract until summer 2023 and he’s noted that he wants to stay at Molineux, but some feel as if he would also be willing to make the jump over to North London.

For now, we have to sit back and see whether or not Manchester United are also going to make an approach.
