Tottenham Hotspur have made a late move on Manchester United winger Nani, according to Portuguese newspaper Record.
The Portugal international was expected to join Inter on loan until the end of the season with an option to buy, but Spurs have attempted to steal the player from under Nerazzurri’s noses.
Nani is almost certain to leave the Red Devils before tonight’s deadline, and it only remains to be seen whether the offer from White Hart Lane will make him change his mind about joining Inter.
The 27-year-old is no longer considered an important member of the squad at Old Trafford, having made just 19 Premier League appearances over the last year and a half.
Nani has spent last six and a half years at Manchester United, scoring 25 goals in 143 Premier League outings for the club.
The Red Devils recently managed to revive their top 4 bid and are now available at 15/8 to clinch Champions League qualification.
