Stoke City welcome Tottenham Hotspur to the Britannia Stadium in the Premier League tonight, and are looking to halt the visitors title hopes by getting back to form after an inconsistent few weeks. Tottenham, however, have impressed away from home this season, and are favourites to pick up all three points in Stoke’s backyard.

Currently ninth in the Premier League with 47 points from 33 games, Stoke City have been inconsistent of late and it sees their top-half place threatened unless they can turn things around soon. The Potters have picked up only one win from their last five in the division, however, so Tottenham may fancy their chances of another win.

As a result, a win tonight still sees them some distance from their title rivals, but their recent form should see them over the line today.
