Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona linked with Lucas Bergvall

Tottenham Hotspur are trying to convince Lucas Bergvall to move to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, according to Football Insider. Spurs are hoping to convince Bergvall to join them in the summer of 2024 and will invite him to their Hotspur Way training ground.

Barcelona are keen on Bergvall as well. The Spanish giants, who won the La Liga title last season, are ready to pay Djurgardens an initial transfer fee of £6 million plus £2.5 million in add-ons for the central midfielder. However, Spurs are now in the mix and are trying to Barcelona to his signature.

Bergvall has been on the books of Djurgardens since December 2022 and has established himself as an important player in the team. He has made 11 starts and 11 substitute appearances in the Swedish league this season, scoring two goals in the process.
