Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace are interested in signing Hakon Arnar Haraldsson from Lille, according to Football Transfers. The report has claimed that Tottenham and Palace have sent scouts to watch Haraldsson in action, noting that the 21-year-old winger has been compared to Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann.
Haraldsson has been on the books of Lille since the summer of 2023 when he joined from Copenhagen. The 21-year-old Iceland international has been superb for the French club and has established himself as one of the better players in his position in Ligue 1.
The youngster has given one assist in two starts and one substitute appearance in Ligue 1 for Lille so far this season. Haraldsson scored two goals in 15 starts and 11 substitute appearances in Ligue 1 last season. Lille are fifth in the Ligue 1 table at the moment with 13 points from seven matches, six points behind leaders AS Monaco.
