The Premier League certainly wouldn’t be what it is without foreign players, foreign investment, but most of all, its top clubs enjoying world-wide support.
In what can only be described as a moment of open xenophobia, a journalist asking Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou a question referred to supporters from outside Britain as “plastic” and “touristy”.
Needless to say, coming from Australia, Postecoglou didn’t like that, and he put the man calling himself journalist in his place in a dignified manner.
