Tottenham Hotspur are increasingly confident of signing Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth in the summer transfer window, according to The Times. The report has claimed that Spurs believe that they would be able to secure the services of Solanke before the start of the season, with the forward himself having given the green light to a potential move to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Solanke has a release clause of £65 million in his contract at Bournemouth, and Tottenham will have to trigger it in order to get a deal done. Spurs could also sell Brazil international forward Richarlison to a club in Saudi Pro League to fund a deal for the 26-year-old former Chelsea and Liverpool striker.
The English striker has made 134 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. Solanke has scored 29 goals and given 13 assists in those games. Solanke scored 19 goals and gave three assists in 37 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for Bournemouth last season.
