Tottenham Hotspur eye Lutsharel Geertruida as Pedro Porro replacement

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Lutsharel Geertruida from RB Leipzig, according to CaughtOffSide. The report has claimed that Real Madrid are keen on a deal for Pedro Porro, and that Tottenham, also linked with Alex Baena, have identified Geertruida as a potential replacement.

CaughtOffSide has claimed that Porro himself wants to leave Tottenham for Madrid, who won La Liga and the UEFA Champions League last season. Manchester United could also make a move for the 25-year-old Spain international right-back, who is an important player for Spurs.

Geertruida has been on the books of RB Leipzig since the summer of 2024 when he joined from Feyenoord. CaughtOffSide has claimed that Leipzig are willing to cash in on the 24-year-old right-back for €40-45 million. The Netherlands international has scored one in seven starts and two substitute appearances in the Bundesliga and has scored four goals and provided one assist in four UEFA Champions League matches.
