Tottenham Hotspur eye Watford midfielder Will Hughes

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Will Hughes from Watford in the summer transfer window, according to The Mirror. It has been reported that Hughes is rated at £13 million, and that the North London club are planning to make a bid for the midfielder.

However, according to the report, Tottenham need to sell some of their players first to raise funds to bring Hughes to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer. The 25-year-old midfielder has been on the books of Watford since 2017 and has done well in the Premier League, having previously been a success in the Championship with Derby County.

Watford will play in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the Premier League at the end of the 2019-20 campaign. The Hornets may be forced to sell some of their best players, and signing Hughes for £13 million this summer could prove to be a bargain for Spurs.
