Tottenham Hotspur interested in Aston Villa’s John McGinn

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing John McGinn from Premier League rivals Aston Villa in the summer transfer window, according to The Telegraph. The report has claimed that the former Hibernian star has impressed the Tottenham chiefs, who are now keen on bringing him to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer.

McGinn has been on the books of Villa since 2018 and has-been superb for the Villans over the years. The Scotland international midfielder has scored three goals and given three assists in 33 Premier League matches this season. The 27-year-old scored three goals and gave five assists in 37 league games last season.

Tottenham are fourth in the Premier League table at the moment with 68 points from 37 matches. Antonio Conte’s side effectively need just a draw from their final game of the season against Norwich City to qualify for the Champions League next season.
