Tottenham Hotspur interested in Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna in the January transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that the former Bayern Munich striker has a release clause of €40 million in his contract.

Premier League club Tottenham are looking for a new striker in the middle of the season because they have not found a like-for-like replacement for Harry Kane. Kane joined Bayern Munich from Spurs in the summer of 2023. The 30-year-old England international striker has scored 22 goals and given five assists in 18 Bundesliga matches this season.

Zirkzee has made 18 starts and one substitute appearance in Serie A for Bologna this season. He has scored seven goals and given two assists in those games. Bologna are seventh in the Serie A table at the moment with 32 points from 20 matches, two points behind fourth-placed Fiorentina. Tottenham are fifth in the Premier League table with 40 points from 21 matches, three points behind Aston Villa in fourth.
