Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Anthony Gordon from Everton in the summer transfer window, according to The Telegraph. It has been reported that England Under-21 international midfielder Gordon is one of three Everton players Tottenham are closely following in case the Toffees get relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
Everton have recovered their form now, but Frank Lampard’s side are still very much in danger of going down from the Premier League. The Toffees are 16th in the table at the moment with 35 points from 34 matches, a point clear of third-from-bottom Leeds United, who have played 35 games.
Gordon has made 22 starts and nine substitute appearances in the Premier League for Everton this season, scoring four goals and giving two assists in the process. The 21-year-old attacking midfielder is one of the better prospects in England and has a bright future ahead of him.
