Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Kyle Walker-Peters from Premier League rivals Southampton in the January transfer window, according to 90min. The report has claimed that Tottenham are looking at potentially bringing in a right-back in the middle of the season, and former Spurs player Walker-Peters is on the radar of the North London club.
Walker-Peters was on the books of Tottenham from 2013 until 2020. After a loan spell at Southampton, the England international full-back make the switch to the Saints on a permanent contract. The 25-year-old has stepped up his game at St. Mary’s Stadium and is a regular in the first team.
The right-back has scored one goal in 11 Premier League matches for Southampton so far this season. Walker-Peters made 29 starts and three substitute appearances in the league for the Saints last season, scoring one goal and giving two assists in the process.
