Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing Santiago Gimenez from Feyenoord in the summer transfer window, according to a report in TEAMtalk. The report has claimed that Tottenham have held talks with Feyenoord over a deal for Gimenez, but the North London club are not close to striking an agreement yet.
Feyenoord are looking for between €45-60m (£39-51.5m) for Gimenez, according to the report, which has added that there is confidence at Tottenham that they will be able to reach an agreement. Spurs are looking for a new centre-forward. Inter Milan are also reported to be keen on securing the services of the 22-year-old Mexico international striker.
Gimenez has made 28 appearances in the Dutch Eredivisie for Feyenoord this season. The young striker has scored 21 goals and given five assists in those games. He has also scored two goals and provided one assist in the UEFA Champions League and has scored one goal in the UEFA Europa League.
