Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Mikkel Damsgaard from Sampdoria in the summer of 2021, according to FCInterNews. The report has added that Inter Milan and Juventus are keen on the 20-year-old attacking player as well.
The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that Premier League club Tottenham and defending Serie A champions Juventus are in pole position for Damsgaard, who can operate as a winger or as a forward. The Denmark international has been on the books of Sampdoria since the summer of 2020 and has made a good impression on Serie A so far.
According to WhoScored, the young attacking player has made 10 starts and 10 substitute appearances in Serie A for Sampdoria so far this season, scoring two goals and providing four assists in the process. Sampdoria are 10th in the league table at the moment with 27 points from 21 matches.
