Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Mohammed Kudus from Ajax in the January transfer window, according to The Sun. The report in the British tabloid has claimed that Eredivisie club Ajax are willing to sell the Ghana international midfielder for £40 million in the middle of the season.
Kudus is one of the best young players in the world and did well for Ghana at the 2022 Qatar World Cup. The 22-year-old has progressed a lot at Ajax, and it would make sense for the Dutch giants to cash in on Kudus when his stock is high.
The midfielder has made five starts and nine substitute appearances in the Eredivisie so far this season, scoring five goals in the process. Kudus has also made five starts and one substitute appearance in the UEFA Champions League so far this campaign, scoring four goals and providing two assists in the process.
