Tottenham Hotspur move for Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Weston McKennie from Juventus in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. The report has claimed that Spurs have held talks with Juventus over a £15 million deal for the former Leeds United loanee and are close to agreeing a deal for the USA international midfielder.

According to Football Insider, Aston Villa have been in talks with Juventus over a deal for Douglas Luiz. Juventus want to sign the Brazil international midfielder and are willing to send McKennie to Villa Park as part of the deal. However, the Villans are unable to come to an agreement with the American star, and now Spurs have made a move.

McKennie, who had a loan spell at Leeds in England in 2023, made 29 starts and five substitute appearances in Serie A for Juventus last season. He gave seven assists in those games. He also made four appearances in Coppa Italia for Juventus last season.
