Tottenham Hotspur scout AS Roma striker Tammy Abraham

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Tammy Abraham from AS Roma in the summer transfer window, according to 90min. The report has claimed that the Premier League club scouted Abraham in action.

The report has claimed that Tottenham scouted Abraham in actin for AS Roma against AC Milan at Stadio Olimpico in Serie A this past weekend. Spurs will need to pay at least £40 million for Abraham. The striker is in his second season at AS Roma and has done well for Jose Mourinho’s side. The 25-year-old has scored eight goals and given three assists in 23 Serie A starts this season. Abraham has also scored one goal and given two assists in seven UEFA Europa League starts this campaign.

Tottenham are sixth in the Premier League table at the moment with 54 points from 34 games, as many as nine points behind fourth-placed Manchester United, who have played 32 games. Meanwhile, Roma currently find themselves sixth in the Serie A standings with 57 points from 32 matches, level on points with fourth-placed Inter Milan.
