Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Alessandro Bastoni from Inter Milan, according to 90min. The report has claimed that Premier League club Tottenham wanted to secure the services of Bastoni in the summer transfer window, and that they remain keen on bringing the 23-year-old central defender from former Serie A champions Inter.
Bastoni has been on the books of Inter since 2017 and has established himself as an important player in the first team. It was current Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte who gave the youngster the chance to play regularly for the Milan club. They won the Serie A title together in 2020-21.
The Italy international centre-back has made four starts and two substitute appearances in Serie A for Inter so far this season. Bastoni has also played twice in the UEFA Champions League for Inter so far this campaign.
