Tottenham Hotspur could consider Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers as their new boss, according to Eurosport. It has been reported that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is not considering dismissing head coach Jose Mourinho, but the Portuguese’s future at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will depend on whether the team finish in the European places in the Premier League table this season.
Spurs will very likely consider former Liverpool manager Rodgers if they decide to part company with Mourinho, according to the report. Rodgers is in charge of Leicester at the moment and is doing extremely well. The Foxes narrowly failed to finish in the top four last season and are very much in the running for the Champions League places this season.
While Tottenham may want Rodgers, if the North London club are unable to secure European football next season and Leicester end up in the Champions League, then it is hard to see the former Celtic manager entertain the idea of switching clubs.
