Tottenham Hotspur to make a move for Steve Finnan

Tottenham Hotspur could request to loan defender Steven Finnan from January.

The thirty-two year old former Fulham (one hundred and seventy three appearances) and Liverpool (one hundred and forty five appearances) and current Espanyol Barcelona (two appearances) defender could be the likely defender to help bolster Tottenham Hotspur’s defensive structure.

Injury and a lack of form with struggling Espanyol could see the Irishman make a temporary move back across the English Channel back to London until the end of the season.

With the Tottenham Hotspur Board, not wanting to release funds for new signings during the transfer window Finnan may be the ideal acquisition.
