According to Corriere Dello Sport (print edition, page 9, September 26, 2020), Tottenham Hotspur could make an offer for Milan Skriniar on Monday. It has been reported by the Italian publication that talks between Inter and Tottenham over the transfer of the central defender have been going on for a while, and now the North London club are planning to an official bid.
Italian giants Inter are looking for €50-60 million (£45.63-£54.76 million) as transfer fee for the 25-year-old centre-back. Spurs have already reached an agreement with the Slovakia international, which means that the Premier League now need to meet Inter’s valuation of the player.
According to WhoScored, Skriniar made 30 starts and two substitute appearances in Serie A for Inter last season. The defender layed six minutes in the Europa League and played six times in the Champions League last season as well, according to WhoScored. Tottenham are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season, while Inter are challenging for the Serie A title.
