Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are interested in signing Barcelona forward Martin Braithwaite in the summer transfer window, according to Sport. Spurs have Braithwaite on their list of potential replacements for Harry Kane.
England international striker Kane is on the radar of Premier League champions Manchester City. The Citizens have already had a bid of £100 million for the 28-year-old turned down, but they remain keen on securing the services of the striker.
Tottenham have a number of candidates to replace Kane in the team, and Barcelona forward Braithwaite is among the favourites. However, West Ham are also interested in the former Middlesbrough man. The Hammers have made a firm offer for the 30-year-old, but he prefers a move to Spurs. Braithwaite wants some time to see if Spurs make a move for him and come calling.
