Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Nathan Ake from Manchester City in the summer transfer window, according to The Daily Mail. City are interested in signing England international striker Kane from Premier League rivals Spurs and are ready to include the central defender and striker Gabriel Jesus in a potential deal.
Spurs are interested in signing Are, and perhaps a deal could eventually happen. Kane has reportedly told Tottenham that he wants to leave to win trophies, and the North London club are unlikely to force the 27-year-old to stay at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Ake joined City from Bournemouth last summer. The 26-year-old, who can also operate as a left-back, made only nine starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for Pep Guardiola’s side this season, scoring one goal in the process, according to WhoScored. The former Chelsea man also played twice in the Champions League this campaign, according to WhoScored.
