Tottenham Hotspur want RB Leipzig goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Peter Gulacsi from RB Leipzig in the summer transfer window, according to Bild. It has been reported that the former Liverpool goalkeeper has a release clause of £11 million, and that Spurs could trigger it and bring him to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Gulacsi has been on the books of Leipzig since 2015 and is one of the better goalkeepers in the Bundesliga. The 30-year-old is a very experienced goalkeeper who has turned out 37 times for the Hungary national football team so far in his career. Interestingly, Gulacsi is a former Liverpool player who failed to break into the first team and was let go by the Reds in 2013.

Hugo Lloris is the first-choice goalkeeper at Spurs at the moment, and although the France international is a very good player, he is 34 years of age now and has made some costly errors from time to time.
