Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Danny Ings from Southampton in the summer transfer window, according to The Athletic. It has been reported that Spurs want a striker, as Carlos Vicinius has gone back to his parent club Benfica.
Ings is out of contract at Southampton at the end of next season and is open to leaving this summer. However, the Saints do not want to sell and will demand more than £25 million as transfer fee for the former Liverpool striker.
The 28-year-old had injury problems during his time at Liverpool, but the striker has done well during his time at Southampton and is at the top of his game now. Ings scored 12 goals and gave four assists in the Premier League last season, and scored 22 goals and gave two assists in the league in 2019-20.
