Tottenham Hotspur want to sign Arsenal target Houssem Aouar

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Houssem Aouar from Lyon, according to Le10Sport. It has been reported that Nuno’s side have joined the race for the 23-year-old midfielder. Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid had already shown interest in the France international, and now Spurs have joined the race.

Lyon are willing to sell Aouar this summer, and for a relatively low price too. The Ligue 1 outfit want between €20 (£17.11) and €25 million (£21.39m) for the youngster. Arsenal have made an offer for the France international, but it is not to the valuation of Lyon.

Aouar made 23 starts and seven substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for Lyon last season, scoring seven goals and providing three assists in the process. The youngster made 23 starts and two substitute appearances in the league in 2019-20, scoring three goals and providing four assists in the process.
